In my flat there are a few disgusting pinboards. The one in my bedroom is almost covered up with good things, but the one in the kitchen (above) has been way behind for too much time. On Wednesday I bought some wrapping paper to put my friend's birthday present inside, but when I got back here I realised that I don't actually have any sellotape. I needed to send it quickly so I put the wrapping paper on the kitchen pinboard and I put her present straight into an envelope(!) I think I might get more of the same paper so I can fill it. It probably doesn't repeat at the edges of the sheet but I hope it does.
The dullness in there is brightened up a lot by having flowers so I will get some more of those too, and some little plants.
I am making it a comfortable, joyful place to live slowly but surely.
